The Abstract Micro Drawings Series represents the beginning of my more intensive artistic journey. These small, meticulous graphic artworks were created with gel pens, using black ink or carefully selected color combinations, sometimes with a single shade and sometimes with multiple tones.

Each drawing is a reflection of thoughts, emotions, and inner experiences from my student years in Moldova. Through delicate lines, repetitive details, and abstract forms, I explored personal feelings, memories, and the quiet process of self-discovery.

These intimate works reveal the foundation of my artistic language — patience, precision, and the transformation of inner reflections into visual compositions. The series captures a personal chapter of my creative development and the origins of my passion for detailed graphic art.

About

1. Microcosms – is an original abstract gel pen artwork composed of three 10 × 10 cm sheets arranged as a single composition. Created with blue and black gel pens, the piece reveals a delicate network of lines, patterns, and abstract forms. Each element contributes to a miniature visual universe, inviting the viewer to explore details, rhythm, and subtle connections within the composition.

2. The Planet (40 × 40 cm) – is an original colorful gel pen drawing created around 2008, in university. Most of my drawings are done with black gel pens, but in this piece I wanted to experiment with multi-colored gel pens. Built from countless intricate details, the artwork required many hours of patience and precision to complete, transforming the composition into a unique miniature universe.

3. Blue Microworld (50×50 cm) – drawn in 2024, this artwork is based on a small graphic drawing created during my university years, which I decided to reimagine on a larger scale.
