Ala Botnarescu, known on Instagram as @abstract_alunna, is an abstract artist whose work combines abstract styles with psychological themes and natural elements. She studied Design and Printing Technologies at the Technical University of Moldova and worked as a web and graphic designer in Chișinău before moving to Bavaria and pursuing her career as a full-time artist.
Based in Scheidegg, Germany, since 2024, she runs Atelier Galerie Ala Botnarescu, where she creates original artworks using gel pens and ink, acrylics & oils, resin, natural elements, and other mixed-media materials.
Between 2022 and 2025, she was a member of the Künstlerkreis Oberstaufen, participating in group exhibitions and artistic collaborations that introduced her work to a wider audience.
Ala’s art reflects the interplay between human emotions and nature, encouraging each viewer to connect with the work in their own way.
