21. Staufner Kunstausstellung – Inspiring Art Exhibition with Award-Winning Works

The 21. Staufner Kunstausstellung took place from April 10–21, 2024, at the Kurhaus Oberstaufen. This annual exhibition is organized by the group of artists in Oberstaufen, which I have proudly been a member of since 2022. The exhibition has grown into one of the most anticipated cultural events in the region.

The central theme of the 21. Staufner Kunstausstellung was “The Main Thing is Blue”. Artists were invited to explore the emotional, symbolic, and artistic power of the color blue. The exhibition also included a retrospective dedicated to the renowned artist Dieter E. Leisner.

For me, the 21. Staufner Kunstausstellung was especially meaningful. I was honored to receive the Staufner Kunstpreis, the main art prize awarded by the jury. My winning piece was created using a unique combination of cyanotype technique and gel pen drawing, a method that blends traditional photographic processes with contemporary line work.
