New Artworks in the PORTOFOLIO – Nov. 2025
Custom resin cubes by Ala Botnarescu showcase two recent explorations in material preservation and light: a clear resin cube encapsulating a small plastic cup with a suspended 3D blue paint drip, and a handcrafted resin rose lamp that holds a real red rose and a built-in LED light. Both pieces blend minimalist design with tactile detail, offering unique home décor accents that reflect moments of artistic spontaneity and nature-inspired aesthetics.

Inktober 2025 Recap
Now that #Inktober2025 has come to an end, I finally had a moment to look back at this inky journey.
Thirty-one days, thirty-one drawings — and more ink stains than I can count. 🖋️
It wasn’t always easy. Some prompts flowed effortlessly, others made me stare at the blank page for hours. The toughest one? Definitely “Murky.” Finding the right idea for that theme took some time — it challenged me the most, but also pushed my creativity in unexpected ways.

For the final day, with the theme “Award,” I created a small timelapse — a quiet celebration of all those late nights, patient lines, and tiny victories along the way. The drawing itself was a portrait of a cat — serene, proud, and a little mysterious — my personal symbol of grace and quiet triumph. Most of my drawings were made with a simple gel pen, but for the finale, I returned to real ink — literally dipping into it.
This challenge reminded me of the beauty of routine, the joy of persistence, and the calm that comes from creating something every single day. Now that October is over, I already miss that rhythm. 💭
Many of these original drawings are available for purchase.
You’re welcome to send me a message via the contact page or visit my Studio Gallery — Ala Botnarescu to see them in person and maybe find one that speaks to you. 🖤
