Weihnachtsmarkt Scheidegg 2025 — Recap
On November 29th and 30th, the Ala Botnarescu Atelier Gallery was represented at the Scheidegg Christmas Market — a weekend full of lights, winter magic, and handmade art.
🎄 Atmosphere of the Market.
The market took place in the center of Scheidegg. The atmosphere was very pleasant — although snow did not fully cover the streets, patches remained, giving a charming winter vibe. Wooden huts decorated with fir branches and Christmas lights, music, the smell of mulled wine and punsch drifting through the square, and visitors eager to buy Christmas gifts or taste warm drinks and treats — everything combined into a cozy, festive scene.
💝 What I Exhibited:
- Wire hearts decorations arranged on stones, wood, or tree bark;
- Beaded wire snowflakes, ready to hang on Christmas trees;
- Real snail shells decorated with metallic foil;
- Felted acorns as charming winter accents;
- Handmade resin jewelry with natural elements;
- Funny photo magnets and hand-painted plaster magnets featuring lips and cats.
🫂 Visitor Interaction.
Visitors reacted warmly to my table of handmade creations. They especially loved the wire hearts and clovers — “so sweet and beautiful!” — these pieces sold out completely during the market. As well as the resin jewelry with natural materials. The photo and plaster magnets brought smiles and laughter.
